PLAN A VISIT

WHAT TO EXPECT

We understand it can be intimidating to come to worship for the first time at a church you've never been to before. We want to help make your first experience at TELC a great one!

WORSHIP TIMES

PLEASE NOTE - Sunday morning plans have been modified due to the pandemic. Please click the red banner at the top of the page for the latest updates and information.

Sunday mornings from Labor Day until Memorial Day:

  • 8:15am and 11:00am - Worship
  • 9:45am - Sunday School and Adult Bible Study

Sunday mornings from Memorial Day until Labor Day:

  • 9:30am - Combined Summer worship

Additional worship opportunities are available during Lent and Advent and can be found on our event page.

WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?

Our worship services run approximately one hour and follow a liturgical format that is generally consistent from week to week. You can expect biblical readings, music, a sermon, prayers, and Holy Communion. The entire service is printed in a worship bulletin you will receive upon arrival.

We recognize that not everyone prefers to worship the same way. And so, we offer different styles of worship. We alternate each week between a contemporary and traditional worship format. Both worship services regardless of format are relaxed.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Come as you are. You'll find people wearing everything from suits to jeans.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Your children are welcome during our worship services. If they are making noise - it's ok! Children aren’t only invited... they are encouraged to be children!

A Nursery is available if you need to step out with your child. We offer live feed audio in our Nursery area.

We offer Sunday School for kids in Pre-K through 6th grade in our fellowship hall at 9:45am from Labor Day until Memorial Day. Stop in and introduce yourself any Sunday!
